A new global study has found that 10.09pm on Saturday is the exact time when people have the most sex.

Luxury lingerie retailer Pour Moi conducted a survey of 2,000 sexually active adults around the world to discover humanity’s horny habits.

A significant 43% of respondents said Saturday was their favorite day to get crazy – and the day they were most likely to do the deed.

Friday came second with 22% of respondents, followed by Sunday and Thursday with 10% and 6% respectively.

Perhaps surprisingly, the first few days of the week were less appealing. Monday was the least favored day of the week for sex, with only 2% of respondents ranking it as their first preference.

The study found that late at night is the most popular time for sex – with 10.09pm being the most sexually active minute of the hour.

The least likely time respondents were likely to have sex was on weekday afternoons, so those who indulge in fun in the middle of the workday are in a rare category.

Mondays at 13:02 were considered the least sexual moment of the week.

Additionally, lingerie experts analyzed how often people have sex, with nearly half of respondents (48%) saying they engage in sexual activity with another person once a week.

A smaller percentage of people reported having sex more often, with 19% of respondents making love twice a week, 13% three times a week and 7% four times a week.

As frequency increases, the percentage decreases, with only 1% of participants reporting engaging in sexual activity on a daily basis.

How often will adults do HOW having sex required a different response for men and women.

Adults generally think that having sex twice a week is ideal, and men between the ages of 25 and 45 are in the same category.

But women in the same age group were found to have the highest sex drive, revealing that having sex four times a week is the ideal amount.
